600 Etec Problem - This all started when i installed a trickle charger/battery tender for the off season. Machine was fine, running with no issues. After installing charger, no. I was out on my 2025 renegade backcountry 600 etec the other day breaking trail. The machine started to run rough at low speed and was loosing its battery charge, getting. My buddy has a 600 etec the other day we where out and he randomly lost everything guage lights the whole deal but the sled still run and drives but not with full power. There is not going to be much negative about the 600r. It is the best selling 600 cc motor of all time and for good reason (s). Only issue so far is my primary hit the plastic shield. After new carb boots, fuel filter, and other stuff i can't remember, the problem turned out to be the fuel pump. It took 3 visits to the dealer and 3 lost weekends of riding for them to. My wife’s 600 etec starts and idles fine, but after warming up it spits and sputters. You can throttle through it and it will run fine after about 30 seconds. It won’t do this on a stand. My father has a 2025 skidoo renegade 600 etec. 600 etecs have been known to lack throttle response at ~ 3/4 throttle much like the 800 etec, and like the 800 etec not all 600 etec had this problem. It's a sure sign that. Just traded in my 2025 renegade etec 600 with 14,300 km and i had 0 problems. The 600 etec is dead nuts reliable. I would drop my 800 etec and get a 600 without even.
